I swear I don't know how it hasn't exploded yet. I guess it just constantly thinks to prevent such a thing. Well that or with the help of my mom. However, right now we have been knocking out wedding things left and right. The big wedding "to do" list is getting some things crossed off and the days are drawing near.
I would have never in a bazillion years guessed how much work, time and money went into a wedding. Heck I never even thought about half of the little details before. You bet I pay way more attention at weddings now.
The details have actually been my favorite part though. Making the wedding ours. Molly & Jeff style. Doing the little projects with my mom, aunts, and family friends. Having my friends be involved in a variety of ways. That to me is the most special part. Getting everyone involved to make it memorable and special.
I get so excited as things keep coming together and I am beginning to see what everything will really look like. I get even more excited to know how close I am to marry the best friend I've ever had.
Sometimes I think it doesn't even seem real. It's like you prepare so long for something that you get so caught up in the getting ready for the party part, you forget about the whole reason for it all. I hope to prepare myself just as much to be a wife, as I do to have a good party. That is definitely the most important preparation.

Even though you bet I'm ready to get my dancing shoes on, raise my glass, and party on with all of our family and friends on August 4th.

I really think the details that make it yours are the best part of weddings. I love that everyone likes different things and especially when I see something and I'm like duh that totally matches their personality!!

Oh that last couple weeks is going to FLY by. I remember thinking in early April, where the hell did the time go!?
Really enjoy it, when people says it flies by it really does and two months later your like, man I want to go back!
Enjoy every second because it will fly by and before you know it the big day will be over. Then you will be an old married lady like me. ha ha
Haha when a friend of mine was getting married and forgetting everything I told her it was wedding brain. So exciting though just a little over a month and you get to enjoy all your hard work!!! Yayy!!

I remember feeling the same way. That it was not real. At some points it just feels like you are planning this big wedding and it will never actually get here. And then it does. And now I am hanging out at home with my HUSBAND tonight one month later. It s crazy. I am so excited for you. I know everyone says it, but it really is the best!!

Wedding stuff is almost all done (waiting for final alterations on my dress and on the mister's shirt) purchased earrings I really liked finally for the "big" day! School is constantly on my brain since I still haven't officially closed down my class room for the year since teaching summer school. And we are so close to having our first home, decorating ideas have taken over in my brain! LOL
