Steal Your Dollar City

Unfortunately this will be the last post of the fun shenanigans I had during the past week at the lake.

If only unlimited fun could last forever!

The last adventure we went on while on our mini vacation was to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. The whole entire family got to go this time and it was a blast to have them all there. Especially my little niece, roller coaster lover in the making.

Silver Dollar City is a theme park that is an 1880's theme with cute little stores, a whole lot of food, and more importantly....boat loads of rides and roller coasters. So pretty much a day of feeling like a little kid all over again. Can't say I hate that.

We got there when it opened, and walked out when it closed down. Didn't waste a single bit of fun. Other than the fact we were bad luck and kept getting on broken rides, it was pretty much non-stop awesomeness.

Not many pictures were taken because I was too busy getting soaked from head to toe, flung upside down, and didn't think my camera could handle that kind of fun.

Now take me baaaack, please!

Give Me Two Tickets to Paradise

Aloha, again.

I am pretty sure the words hello and goodbye and going to be replaced with Aloha from now on. I am pretty much in love with it.

Since I am running on fumes and no sleep, I will wait to do my entire week in paradise recap. Of course I took a billion pictures, but that is just not enough. Nothing is enough to truly capture the past week.

I absolutely did not edit this at all. It was just insanely, insanely gorgeous.

It was hands down one of the best trips in my lifetime. Everything about it was just amazing and I really am quite sad it had to end. Even though, our bed pretty much feels like heaven right now.

I do know I walked away from the week realizing a few things.....

One. I somehow managed to fall more in love with my husband. Proud is a definite understatement.
Two. Hawaii pretty much looks like a postcard....but better. Thank you God is all I can say to that.
Three. I think I'll hold off on 8.5 hour plane rides for awhile. And airports in general.
Four. I really fancy my husband's job and all of the people he works with.
Five. I am not going to eat or drink anything for the next year. Okay I've said that about 100 times before.

But what I really, really walked about with was just overall realizing how blessed I am, we are. I seriously just could not stop thinking that the entire time. I am so thankful.

And now I'm ready to see our families and of course....Piper, our child who has probably abandoned us by now.

Okay goodnight for a few days now. I am trying to adjust from the 80's to the 30's. Not.even.cool.

MINNESOTA here we COME!

The crew is departing!
And heading to MN.
Traveling with three people in a little honda.
Here's how.

PACK LIGHT.
-And consolodate the 15 pairs of shoes into like...3.
-I had a hard time with this one.
-Okay, I consolodated it to like...8.
-Close enough.

BRING A COOLER.
-Pop.Water.Whatev.
-Snacks (Healthy)
-Anything else you might want in a cooler.
-This eliminates the 100 gas station stops.
-Don't bring a potty though, that would be nasty. Stop at the station. For all's sake.

LISTEN TO CD's.
-Jam. out. It makes the trip go much faster.
-Make CD's so if y'all have different tastes you can have a variety on the CD's  so not one gets all angry and upset.
-I would recommend a Book on Tape as well, but only if you are ridin' solo.

BRING A BLANKET.
-If you are me and pass out right when you get into a car, then you'll want a blanket to
get you through the trip without being woken up every .5 seconds from your neck being titled in a very wrong position.
-Okay, maybe this one is just for myself.

MAKE A LIST
-Write down what you need.
-I did say NEED right?
-Only what you need.  Or you will have three bags full of clothes, two full of shoes, and etc.
-You can always buy extra when you get there. Plus, it forces you to buy new things :)
-Mark things off your list as you pack them. One by one.
-Because TRUST ME you will get really angry when you forget your Chi straightener.
-So, make a list. Mark it off. Be happy.

HERE WE GO!!!!
Happy Thursday to YOU!!!!
