You know those days when
you just aren't feelin' it?
Everything goes wrong.
You think your life just sucks.
You wanna crawl in your bed and down
a tub of ice cream and chocolate.
Like anyone would do THAT?! :)
(guilty as charged)
And you literally want to just.give.up?
We ALL have felt this at one time or another.
When we are feeling defeated is the perfect opportunity
for us to remember....that is could ALWAYS be worse.
Always.
I have to remind myself of this everytime I get in a funk.
I then count each and every darn blessing I have
and thank my lucky stars my problems are so small and insignificant.
I then begin to feel so blessed, and my problems seem to disappear.
For example:
I got a 108 dollar spending ticket on my way home this past weekend.
BUT....
It could ALWAYS be worse. My ovaries are about to explode. Literally. It hurts to move. I feel like I'm dying. TMI, sorry.
BUT.....

It could ALWAYS be worse.
I have a fiance hundreds of miles away for 9.5 months.
And it really really really really sucks.
Especially because I can never sleep good anymore.
Especially because I can never sleep good anymore.
BUT....

It could ALWAYS be worse.
Whatever bad things are going on in our lives,
they seem so awful at the time.
And they are awful. Especially to the person they are happening to.
There are some days when something tiny
goes wrong and I think my world is going to end.
Literally.
And sometimes I throw a pity party. Balloons and cake included.
I also treat the people I love the most like poo when I get this way.
This is not okay.
Then I begin to think of what others are going through.
Then I feel bad.
I feel guilty.
I don't think we should pretend our problems
aren't important or matter.
They ARE important,
and our happiness can be altered because of these awful things.
However, to get past these awful days and nights
we just need to remember that someone close,
is having a much worse day and could probably use a friend or helping hand.
So be there for those who are suffering.
Love harder than you ever have before.
Be a good person.
It will make these hard days much easier, even though it seems impossible.
Cherish each breathe you take.
Like I have said many times before...life is so very very precious.
I need to remind myself daily.
Happy Tuesday!
(Ren and Stimpy Happy Happy Joy Joy song. haha. Bringing back my childhood.)
Don't worry I won't talk about ovaries ever again ;)
