glitz and glam

Today I'm linking up for the glitz & glam blogger swap extravaganza!!!

When I saw that Raven & Lindsey {two of my favorite bloggers} were hosting a little blog swap that not only involved meeting over bloggas but also involving GLITZ and GLAM I was totally all in. Plus, this is my favorite time of all the year and it is always fun to spread some holiday cheer across the United States!

I was partnered with Sierra and so glad I was able to meet her! Totally obsessed with her goodie box too. Either she read my mind or did some research but she totally hit it out of the park.
This was in the middle of cleaning Jeff's house so the box was thrown away before I could take pictures but here are some of the bomb diggity goods that came from Oregon to Kansas!

These are totally the cutest ornaments I've seen in quite some time and would be so fun to make. Our Christmas tree enjoyed them as well :) A nice little pizazz that was needed.

Okay so I have no idea if she hijacked my brain and just knew that I was obsessed with organizing things and most importantly planners or what but she hit it right on the money!! I actually had seen these a month or so before and wanted to snatch them up. Win win and triple win!

Get ready for some picture overload! I can't even tell ya how excited I was when I got the little notification from my friend on facebook that I had been tagged in a few pictures. A whole album of little ol' Molly & Jeff. You may or may not get tired of our faces by the end of this post. P to the S the quality isn't as good as the originals, but you get the point!

Okay so I know y'all are just dying to see this hilarious picture my friend {who took our engagement pictures} just sent me. I'll definitely post {normal} ones when we get them back. She rocks. Fo sho.

Jeff is just so high on life and I'm just so...frozen. For some reason Jeff hates his face in this picture but I just can't figure out why because it cracks.me.up. As Jeff would say "here's to falling in love". ;)

all i want for christmas is....

Today I'm linking up Becky & Aly about my good ol' Christmas list.

I swear every year I have the worst time ever coming up with a list, until after Christmas that is. Most of the time I really don't need anything, and hate to ask for things so my Christmas is usually a big surprise...which I love. I've never been the kid to look for gifts, I like the surprise even if it is a nice new pair of socks {which I desperately need-hint hint}.

Last year I got this little number for Christmas so....yeah, that's gonna be hard to beat. :) The two things I always wish for on Christmas though are snow & family time. Those honestly are the two things I want more than anything on Christmas day. Boom. I'm easy peasy. It's true.

But I don't decline presents so here's a list....

1.) Iphone 4S

Lemme tell ya I've been waiting for this bad boy for about seven months now. My poor wittle iphone is coming to the end of it's life and this gal is in need of a new phone. Okay, so it still works fine but how cool would it be be able to take a picture of yourself without anyone knowing...I mean C'MON!

2.) Bras/Undies/Socks

If I get anything for Christmas, I sure hope these are apart of it because I am in dier need....I'm talkin' like life or death situation here. I'm having issues with only having one sock and it usually is a brown and black one....this is not a fashion statement and will never be "in". Dannnng.

3.) The Help {The Book}

Because I need something else to distract my time with & I've heard this book was the bomb diggity.

4.) Workout Pants

Some motivation? Maybe? Any workout gear is exciting to me! Throw in a running watch and maybe I'll be competing in marathons in a few months. You just never know.

5.) Photoshop (for the Mac I don't have)

I really, really want to learn how in the heck to use photoshop. I feel like there is a whole other world out there I am missing out on. It really is a bummer. However, I don't have a Mac. Jeffrey does though so I guess it's all in the same. Maybe he'll buy himself photoshop for Christmas so then it can be sorta mine too? Yeah sounds like a good idea to me too. Merry Christmas Jeffy.

6.) Giftcards

Target-The Loft-Dunkin Donuts-Wal Mart-Actually, anywhere...I'm not picky.

7.) Wedding Stuff

I have no idea what I need so ummm...essentials would be good ;)

8.) To live in the same town as my fiance. Now that...would be a Christmas miracle.

So instead I'll just pray I get some new socks and bras for Christmas and we will call it a deal. Mostly, I'm exciting to get to spend time at home with all the people I lurve so much. Nothing like it to me. And that is the God to honest truth.

P.S. if we were getting reaaaallll silly here I'd wish for a house, boat, lakehouse, lab, fourwheeler, and sweet camera ;)

It's been pretty quiet over here, I know.

It's been a very busy week filled with {stacks of} school work and helping Jeff move to his new place. I did realize how out of shape I am,  my arms feel like they are falling off today. Lordy, the gym must think I have fallen off the face of the earth.

The past few days have been very busy, but quite fun...if moving can even be called that. I've helped him move alot, but this one was definitely different. It wasn't just down the street, or across town...it was about 8 hours away. Big move I'd say. Coming back to KS, leaving MN. He will only be TWO hours away. Hellz yeah!

It's also been fun because he moved to our future town, where in eight months we will make this town ours. As an "us".  This town better watch our for this duo. So it's been pretty sweet to check out the area, put together his little apartment, and enjoy some time together even if it is moving and running around.

Now for some wine & fireplace time :) Yaaaaaaaa buddy.

Today is a pretty special day. Involving a certain someone in my family.
As you know...they are my everything. The reason for me, and who I am.

But today is for my dad. My hero.

 

I read an article and literally bawled through the entire thing. So many memories flooded through my mind of childhood, growing up, and how big of an impact my dad has always been on me. The sacrifices he has made, the promises he has never broken, the love he never stops showing to me, my family, and most importantly my mother.

So on this day I would just like to say the happiest HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the man who loved me first, and will always be my hero. I will be forever grateful and thankful for you daddio. You mean the absolute world to me.
